In ILIUM, ''materials'' refer to the composition of Stratigraphic Units (and to the composition of finds and samples in the desktop version).
The software creates a set of ''standard'' materials (stone, brick, mortar, clay, etc...) that the user may use.
This standard set of materials cannot be modified or deleted.
The user can create more specify materials according to the requirements of the site investigated: a local type of stone, different type of mortars...
Create new material: tap on the icon (
).
View details: tap on a row of the list.
Modify: tap and hold on a row of the list, then select "Modify" from the contextual menu.
Delete: tap and hold on a row of the list, then select "Delete" from the contextual menu.
"Add", "View" and "Modify" actions will open the Material form window.
Filter the list:
You can apply a filter by definition of the materials (stone, brick, etc...) by entering the text you are searching for in the text field in the upper part of the screen.
