Materials form
This is the screen the user will see as a consequence of an "add", or "edit", or "view" action.
Anyway, each type of action (add, edit or view) allows a specific set of user interactions.
The Materials form is composed of several "tabs".
Below it follows a short description of each "tab" of the form:
''Overall'' tab
Material: identifies the Material with an unique code.
Type: geologic (stone...), artificial (worked stone, pottery...), organic (bones...)
Definition: general definition of the material: stone, clay...
Specification: specific definition: Carrara (a type of Italian marble), Montjuic (a stone of Barcelone)...
Observations: Any note that deserves to be recorded and does not fit in the other fields.
''Analytic data I'' tab
Texture: it defines the tactile quality of the material.
Colour: see ''Color picker and color scan'' for more specifications.
Consistency: the degree of density or firmness.
''Analytic data II: Measurements'' tab
See ''Measurements in ILIUM'' for more specifications.
''Administrative data'' tab
Filled by: the person who filled the current Material form.
Date: the user can press the ''set date'' button to insert today's date,
or he/she can introduce a date manually if he/she is copying a previous paper sheet.
