Image form

This is the screen the user will see as a consequence of an "add", or "edit", or "view" action.
Anyway, each type of action (add, edit or view) allows a specific set of user interactions.

The Image form is composed of several "tabs".

Below it follows a short description of each "tab" of the form:

''Overall'' tab

Image: identifies the Image with a unique code.

Type: e.g. drawing, photo...

Sub-type: more specification.

Orientation: if the image type it's a photo, fill this field with the orientation from where the photo was taken.

Instrument: the instrument by which the image was obtained.

Description: free text if the user want to describe the image.

Intervention: identifies the intervention to which the image belongs. This field is automatically entered by the program, and it can not be modified. The value matches the name that the user has chosen for the file.

''Administration'' tab

Filled by: the person who filled the current Image form.

Date: the user can press the ''set date'' button to insert today's date, or he/she can introduce a date manually if he/she is copying a previous paper sheet.

''Image'' tab

Here is where the image is shown.
If the user is accessing this screen as a consequence of a "new" or "edit" action, tapping on the "add" button allows to choose an image from the "Gallery" of the device, to take a new shoot, or to draw a sketch by hand.
In any case, the image will be physically stored in the same folder of the intervention, inside a sub-folder named "[name of intervention]_images".
If the image is chosen by the "Gallery" app of the device and it's actually stored in another folder, in the "excavation images folder" will be stored a copy of the selected image. The original image will not be deleted or moved.

Within any of the available modes ("new", "edit" or "view"), tapping on the loaded picture, if any, will open it into the "image viewer" of the device (it's not part of ILIUM), in order to zoom it and/or retrieve some technical details for information purposes.

''Stratigraphic units'' tab

Here the stratigraphic units to which the image is related (e.g., the S.U. that are the subject of the photo) are shown.
Tapping on the "add" button, the user will be prompted about the S.U. identificator for adding it to the list of related S.U. Please note that the field will suggest the ids of the already entered S.U. when you start writing; to be so, anyway, the user has to enter the very first characters of the S.U. id, that usually correspond to the "intervention code".
